• Account information: name, email address, phone number, profile photo.
• Identity verification documents, submitted when you become a host or driver.
• Vehicle information: license plate, make, model, and color.
• Location data, to show and search for nearby parking spots.
• Payment information, processed and stored by our payment provider, Stripe — we never see or store your full card details.
• Booking history, reviews, and messages exchanged through the app.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to operate the marketplace: matching drivers with available spots, processing bookings and payments, verifying identity for trust and safety, sending booking notifications, and improving the app. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-party services

NearPark relies on trusted third parties to operate: Google Firebase for authentication, data storage, and notifications, and Stripe for payment processing and payouts. Each handles data under their own privacy policies.

4. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, and as required to satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

5. Your rights

You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information at any time from within the app, or by emailing us directly.

6. Children's privacy

NearPark is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes through the app or by email.
